Electrical Panel Installation

We install modern electrical panels that meet current safety codes and provide adequate power for your home's needs.

Chapter 01

Panels that are out of room, out of date or double-tapped

A panel is the one place every circuit in the house comes together, and it ages. Signs it's due: breakers that trip when two ordinary appliances run, a breaker that's warm to the hand, scorch marks, a cabinet with no open slots, or a pair of wires crammed under one breaker lug. That last one is called a double tap, and it loosens over time.

Frequent breaker trips, flickering lights, an aging panel or new appliances on the way are the usual reasons for an upgrade. Add a shop, a hot tub or a charger and you're asking a panel from another decade to carry a load it was never sized for. That's the call Justin gets from homeowners around Bullard and Kemp.

Load calculation, new panel, bonding and grounding

Justin starts with the numbers: what the house actually draws, what's coming next, and how big the service needs to be. That load calculation decides the panel size, not whatever box is on the shelf. Then comes the swap. Power is disconnected at the service, the old panel comes out, the new enclosure goes in, and circuits land one at a time on breakers matched to the wire behind them.

Bonding and grounding get the same care as the breakers because they're what carries a fault away from you. Neutrals and grounds go on their own bars where that's required, the cabinet is bonded, and every conductor is torqued, not just snugged. When he's done the directory is written out clearly, so nobody has to guess which breaker feeds the kitchen.

Chapter 03

Room to grow, and who shows up

A good new panel leaves space. Justin sizes it with open slots so a generator inlet, an electric car charger or a subpanel out to the shop can be added later without tearing it all apart again. Plenty of homeowners in Brownsboro and Noonday start with one bad breaker and end up with a panel plan for the next twenty years.

The labor is backed by his five-year labor warranty. If a breaker ever feels hot or trips for no reason you can find, don't keep resetting it. Call (903) 218-3632. The person who comes out is the owner and a master electrician, and the same hands that set your panel are the ones you call if something looks off.
