Chandelier Installation
We handle the electrical wiring and structural support needed to safely hang even the heaviest fixtures.
Chapter 01
A heavy fixture on a standard box is a slow drop
Chandeliers weigh more than most people guess. Iron, glass and crystal pieces run to dozens of pounds, and a standard fixture box is only meant for a modest lamp. Hung on one, the fixture sags, the canopy pulls away from the ceiling, and eventually the screws tear through. The early signs are a crooked canopy or a hairline crack in the paint around it.
Two-storey foyers make it worse because nobody can see the canopy from the floor. In a house out toward Eustace or Malakoff, a fixture may have hung from the same box for twenty years without anyone checking it. If you have a heavy fixture and you aren't sure what's holding it up, call Justin at (903) 218-3632 and he'll look.

Structure first, then wiring, then the lift
Before he touches the fixture, Justin works out where the weight will go. A heavy chandelier gets hung from a support rated for its load and tied into framing, not dangling off a drywall ear. Tall ceilings mean a tall ladder or scaffold, a second set of hands to hold the piece, and chain or rod length measured against the room before anything is cut.
Wiring comes last. He sets the height so the bottom edge clears heads and sits right over the dining table, feeds the leads through the canopy, makes clean connections and checks the control against the lamps. A long linear iron fixture, a row of lantern pendants over an island and a cluster over a stair each need different support, and he plans for each one.
Chapter 03
Dimmers, bulbs and what to ask for
A chandelier lives or dies by its dimmer. Candle-base bulbs, LED filaments and older incandescent lamps all behave differently on one, and a mismatch shows up as flicker or buzz. Justin matches the control to the bulbs you'll actually use, so the fixture dims smooth down to a glow instead of flashing at the bottom of the dial.
The work carries his five-year labor warranty. Homeowners in Canton, Mabank and Gun Barrel City call (903) 218-3632 when a bulb gets changed and the fixture suddenly acts up, and that's usually a quick fix once someone opens the canopy. Ask before you buy a piece, too. A short conversation about weight and height saves a lot of ladder time.
