Home Electrical Inspections
Our comprehensive home electrical inspections evaluate your entire system from the service panel to individual outlets and fixtures.
Chapter 01
When a straight answer is worth more than a guess
People call for an inspection at a few specific moments: before buying a house, before selling one, when the place is old and nobody knows what is in the walls, or after a scare like a hot outlet or a breaker that won't explain itself. The question is always the same. Is this system safe to live with, and if not, what exactly needs to change?
The inspection covers the system from the service panel to individual outlets and fixtures. Justin Zimmerman looks for code violations, outdated wiring and fire hazards, then gives clear recommendations in order of importance rather than a wall of jargon. You leave knowing what is fine, what needs watching, and what needs fixing soon.

Electrician in safety glasses testing a panel's breakers with a clamp meter
Panel to outlet, in the order the power travels
He starts where power enters: the meter base, the service conductors, and the panel. With the cover off he looks at breaker sizes against wire sizes, double-tapped lugs, rust or water trails, scorched bus, and whether grounding and bonding are connected. Then he works outward, testing receptacles, checking GFCIs in wet areas, and looking at splices in attics and junction boxes.
It ends with a conversation, not a form dropped on your counter. Out in Brownsboro or Bullard, buyers and sellers alike get the same walkthrough of what the clamp meter and tester showed. The findings are written down in plain order of risk, so you can bring them to a closing or a repair decision.
Chapter 03
What you get: a straight answer, no upsell
Rachel Proctor asked Justin to look over several items after a fire and wrote that "this man was not out to find additional work just to make extra money." Amelia Moreno called him about a panel and lighting issue and described him as "very professional & thorough." That is the standard: report what is real, rank it, and leave what's fine alone.
Call (903) 218-3632 from anywhere around Henderson County, Kemp to Chandler, and ask for Justin. Whatever he repairs after the inspection is backed by the five-year labor warranty, so the visit that finds the problem and the visit that fixes it come from the same person.
Very reasonably priced & honest for the work done & his time spent.
